This plan was developed to keep our staff & clients as safe as possible. As such, everyone who enters the clinic for services must commit to recommended and safe practises to minimize the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

It must also be understood that if you are attending the clinic for Chiropractic care you are providing consent to be receiving treatment when the recommended distancing measure guidelines cannot be upheld due to the nature of the treatment.

The overall goal of this protocol is to reduce potential COVID-19 transmission by:

  • Ensuring the recommended distances are being followed (2m / 6 feet)

  • Our appointment emails include a reminder to patients not to book or attend any appointments if they experience any, or have had close proximity with anyone with, COVID-19 symptoms - and reschedule at a later date if needed.

  • Clients are again screened at the front door with appropriate signage, which asks them not to enter if they are sick or have been told to self-isolate.

    • Hand-washing or sanitizing available upon entry in waiting area as well in treatment room. (Doctors & staff sanitizing between each interaction)

  • Avoid face touching

  • Enhanced cleaning protocols conducted throughout the day with Health Canada approved sanitation products. (Sanitizing tables in between each client visit, as well as common surfaces multiple times per day)

  • Appropriate PPE* (personal protective equipment) when required. [UPDATED NOVEMBER 19 2020]

    • Masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces. People who cannot put on or remove a mask on their own are exempt.
      - This includes entering and leaving the building as well as waiting for your appointment.

  • Meeting all professional recommendations according to our licensing bodies CCBC, PHO, BCCDC and WorksafeBC.
